It was just a small do at home for family and friends and it
was so much fun, and it was the hottest day of the year so far which meant we
were able to sit out until the early hours.
Ad’s (AKA Beans) birthday is actually next week and to
celebrate we will be in LAS VEGAS . . . so to mark the pending holiday I made a
‘Welcome to the fabulous forties’ Las Vegas sign cake!
And after finding old photos of Beans as a baby with a
bottle of champers and in a police car I could not resist making these beer
mats! And they must have been popular as by the end of the night we only had a
couple left!!
